As you know i love to help out with the yardwork. While in New Hampshire i helped Grandpop with the shoveling and was introduced to a new tool the snow rake! On Sunday we had a big thaw - it was up to fifty degrees with lots of snow melting.
Mommy and Grammy took me to the Montshire Childrens Museum. There were numerous tunnels for me to crawl through, fish and turtles to see and a huge stuffed moose. I cannot wait to go back in the summertime when there are exhibits down by the river.
One of my favorite presents is my first pair of skis. I will take good care of them so Brady can "inherit" them. Daddy headed out to Mt Sunapee with Uncle Johnny and Aunt Jeannemarie for a day of skiing. Mommy, Grammy, Grandpop and Aunt Kate took me out on the golf course for my first skiing lesson. Mommy says i did very well, i did not have any wipeouts.
Christmas day we all went sledding. We had several feet of fairly fresh snow. I gave everyone quite the workout-having to carry me up the hill as the snow was so deep i had difficulty walking in it.
Much to our delight, Santa found us in New Hampshire. We were very lucky to receive many new toys, books and clothes. Santa was very good us, as were both the Bowles and Gaffney extended families. This year Coop was more interested in the actual presents than just the wrapping. As you can see one of Coop's favorite presents was a red and green ski sweater which was perfect as he also received his first pair of skis. He tried them out of course. He has promised to teach me next winter.
In Gaffney tradition we went to Christmas Eve Mass in New London. It was actually fairly nice weather- not too cold without rain or snow. We were getting anxious for Santa Claus' arrival, hoping he would find us at Grammy and Grandpops house. Aunt Jeannemarie, Aunt Kate and Uncle Johnny had arrived the night before so we spent the day playing with them. I love helping Grandpop with the fire.
