Life is good!

The next generation Nashville Predator

In early November the National Youth Hockey Association sponsors a "Try Hockey for Free Day".  Through my skating lessons , i was invited to join the program.  I loved wearing all the equipment and passing the puck on the ice.  Brady and Henry were kind enough to watch and were thoroughly entertained by the zambonie.

First trip to the Symphony!

Living in Nashville provides children (and their grateful parents) with so many blessings.  The Pied Piper Series at the Schermerhorn Symphony Hall is a shining example.  Four times a year the hall opens itself up for a special childrens event.  Sometimes these events are in conjunction with the Nashville Ballet, Opera or the Childrens Marionette Puppet Program through the Nashville Library.  Mommy and I joined her partner Dr Whitman and her daughter Meredith for The Composer is Dead Halloween Performance.  Before the show began we attended the Musical Instrument Petting zoo where i played a violin, cello, bass, trumpet, piano, xylophone and drums! The hall is spectacularly beautiful and sounds awesome, especially special to see after it had been closed for over 6 months due to the flood.

Field Trip to Gentry Farm

Once or twice a month I go on a field trip with my teachers Ms Susan and Ms Tami.  In October, Mommy was one of the drivers to Gentry Farms.  I pretty much love everything associated with school, however I truly love traveling with my classmates (and Ms Elaine/Kendall's friends) to explore new places! Thus far this year, we have traveled to Cheekwood to see the trains, Gentry Farms, Cheekwood for the Scarecrow Exhibit and to the Farmers Market to purchase fresh vegetables for our Thanksgiving Feast.  Next up the Mummy Exhibit at the Frist and Cooking School!

Happy First Birthday Henry!

How is our happy go lucky Henry already one? We love his ear to ear smile and pleasant demeanor.  Brady and I love to make him laugh as his laugh seems to travel from his toes up through his belly and envelopes his face.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Tigger, Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.  Thanks to Andrew the dragon and William the penguin for joining us.  Happy Halloween Birthday to Grammy!

Jack O Lanterns

The pumpkin harvest in Tennessee was plentiful this year.  Mommy and I learned the specific details on our field trip to Gentry Farms.  During the month of August there was not a drop of rain , followed by a three day drenching rains from a tropical storm over Labor Day weekend.  These conditions allowed for very thick pumpkin vines leading  to ongoing pumpkin growth well into October.  Brady, Henry and I had many pumpkins to carve.  We each had a "C" , "B" and "H" pumpkins respectively.

Bond of brotherhood

We love playing together around the house.  We all share a love for our Towmater- who knew he would be so special! "Camping" is another one of our favorites around the house...
