Oh Christmas Tree
We headed down to the neighborhood Boy Scout lot again this year and came back with a beautiful tree. Mommy had trained Brady and I well as i exclaimed at the lot (in true Gaffney holiday spirit) "we need the biggest tree ever!" Yes, our reindeer hats have made another appearance this year- the spandex nature of them makes them our only article of clothing we have been able to wear year after year. More pictures to follow once fully decorated..
The Old Man is 5 weeks
Mommy and Daddy frequently comment on how much as newborns we all look like old men. I have truly lived up to this as frequently i can be found loudly snoring up a storm.

Our first brush with Santa this season!
The Saturday after Thanksgiving we had pancakes with Santa at Cheekwood. Our friends the Damps, Whites and Willers all joined us. We are particularly thankful for all of our friends this holiday season. We whispered our wishes to Santa while sitting on his lap. As you can see Henry was rather unimpressed with the scene and slept through the entire event. It was a little difficult to get pictures of all of us together-too many young kids on the move...

Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble Gobble
Grammy and Pop returned to spend Thanksgiving with us- what a treat! On Wednesday night Pop, Cooper and Daddy attended a Predators Game. Coop has really started to enjoy his skating lessons- last week from one side of the rink to the other without falling. He is working on his hockey stick skills in the backyard, for now on the grass. Coop was nice enough to bring me home a predators shirt. Henry and i are anxious to join them for a game in the future. We had balmy summerlike temperatures and lots of yummy food thanks to Grammy and Mommy. When at asked the table what he is thankful for Cooper replied " my family"- i think we would all second that. Thanks to Grammy and Pop for all of their help!!!
Gym Time for Henry
Coop and I brought out our baby gym for Henry to "exercise". Thus far he seems to enjoy the stimulation as we did. I am no longer quite able to fit in, although i like to try to do so. With all my recent exercise, i certainly still like a good sleep.
Happy One Week Henry!
Henry celebrated his one week birthday with his first trip to the park as well as his first bottle. His one week checkup revealed a healthy little baby boy who had gained a pound since hospital discharge. May all his weeks be so smooth sailing!
Henry's First Tubby Time
We helped Mommy give Henry his first tubby- it took a little convincing but once he was good and warm, he did relax. Hard to believe Brady and I were once this size to use the baby tub! As you can see in the first picture by Brady's face, Henry's initial reaction was a little unsettling to us. We are glad he now enjoys his tubby time as much as we do.
