What's more fun than eating snow?

We had our third snowstorm of the winter this past week- rather unheard of for Nashville.  Due to icy roads and persistently low temperatures most schools around here were closed for the week.  We had a great time playing in the snow.  I love to eat the snow.  I was eating the snow nearly as fast as Mommy and Cooper built the snowman.  I was then delighted to keep eating the snowman's nose -how handy that it was a carrot. Cooper was proud of the acorns he found for eyes and the yardsticks for arms. We again went sledding in Daddy's kayaks!

Happy two months Henry!

New Years weekend we celebrated Henry's two month birthday with a trip to the zoo.  As you can see it was a little bit chilly- we had the place to ourselves.  Henry loves to smile and coo , although thus far hard to catch on film- more to follow...

My New Favorite Word: Scoot

I love to say "Scoot" in an adorable manner as only a two year old can.

Gaffney Cousin Band

We delightfully entertained the grownups with our band- violin, guitar, drums, microphone and more.  I love to stand on the stage and say "welcome to the show." Thanks to Tad and Cooper for sharing the stage with me.

Christmas Morning- Santa Visits

Not only did snow fall on Christmas Eve but Santa found our house leaving lots of goodies for us all. What a treat and total chaos when we woke up and discovered the gifts undeer the tree.  Santa left us-  I received a Buzz Lightyear bike, Brady a scooter and Tad a tricycle.  Henry also delighted in a small Henry Engine (one of Thomas' friends).  We were blessed with numerous gifts from friends and family here with us in Nashville and in San Antonio, Seattle amongst other places.  Most excitingly, Aunt Jeannie joined us all on Christmas coming from Boston.  We had a great day with our family!
