My First Trip to the Zoo

Today i had my first trip to the zoo. I enjoyed the elephants and giraffes the most. My zookeeper's hat is from the San Diego zoo -Mommy and Poppi bought it for me before i was born. The zoo wore me out....

New Hobbies

Unfortunately I have my first cold this week- overall i am feeling better. More importantly this week i have rolled over from my back to my belly! All of my hard work in tummy time has paid off. I have also found my thumb and seem to be sucking it on a consistent basis, just like my Mommy did when she was young. It helps me go back to sleep if i wake up early in the morning. As you can see in the pictures, when tummy time is too long i find my thumb as well for some much needed rest.

Yard Work

Saturday night we had a football party with Anna Claire, Pete, Julie, Jenny and Danny. Mommy and Julie forgot to take Anna Claire and my photo as we were both decked out in attire for our respective teams. Unfortunately A&M suffered a mighty loss this week but the Vols were victorious. Sunday was a day filled with church and yard work. I slept through Mass as i found the words and music quite soothing. The afternoon was spent working in the yard- Mommy and I are in charge of watering all the new grass Poppi has planted. I wore my first lid (as Grandpop would call my baseball cap) to protect my increasingly fair skin.

Social boy

I have had a social week. Mommy had some training with her new job so i have played with my Nanny Sonia. I gave her a run for her money the first two days as i attempted to revitalize the bottle strike- she was great and i worked through my protest. I had lunch with Jenny. Anna Claire and I took our Mommies out for cocktails-she is teaching me all of her tricks. When Mommy and Poppi eat dinner, I now join them at the table in my bebe pod. I find the lights, movements and music of my aquarium fascinating!

AC is finally off!

We have finally been able to turn off the AC this week and the windows are open as much cooler temperatures have arrived! This weekend i have been busy- picked out a new TV with Poppi for my den, went to Poppi's work picnic, and the Beckhams came over for dinner. Bailey Dog and I took a hike in Radnor Lake with Mommy and Poppi. Bailey ran three times as much as we did as she loves the crisper air. These days i love to laugh and coo when i am entertained. I have been spotted sucking my right thumb on numerous occasions.

Three months old!

I celebrated my three month birthday at a lunch date with Nanette and Avery. Mommy and Nanette met during residency. Avery turned one in August and is walking around her house. Right now the difference in our age seems great but soon enough i will be following after her. I work hard in tummy time.

College Football

College football season is here- Saturday we went to Anna Claire's to watch the UT game-however Poppi's A&M game and Pete's Georgia game seemed to get more screen time. We are all looking forward to when Anna Claire and I can entertain one another.
