Henry's Big Dunk

April 2nd Henry's Baptism was celebrated ,  rather appropriately, St Henry's Church in Nashville.  Uncle Johnny and Aunt Michele graciously agreed to be Henry's godparents.  Lord, help him when those two come to visit him in college... We were so excited to have all four grandparents, the entire Dial Gang,  Tad , Aunt Kate and Uncle Johnny come to town for the festivities.  We celebrated with a barbeque afterwards, joined by friends The Whites and Poths as well.  We were spoiled with warm weather and spent the entire weekend outside.  On Sunday, we even snuck in a quick visit to the zoo.  Thanks everyone for coming!

Portland Timbers Soccer Star

I loved watching Cooper's soccer games this season.  I was a great cheerleader for the Portland Timber.  Cooper really started to get the hang of soccer as the season unfolded.  He had a great time with his friends Maggie and Anna Claire who were on his team.  Cooper loved to score both in his opponent's and his own team's goal.  The first weekend of April, Henry's Baptism weekend, I was excited to have all four of my grandparents, Tad and Uncle Johnny come with me to Cooper's game.

Cooper Learns to Ski

In March we took our first flight as a family of five to visit Grammy and Pop in New Hampshire.  Mommy, Daddy and I went skiing at Mt Sunapee.  I took several ski lessons and loved it.  I ended my ski days nearly in tears with noodle legs as my body needed a break that my mind did not want to take.  Aunt Jeannie and Mister Chris joined us on the slopes.  Thanks to Grammy and Pop, Mommy and Daddy were able to spend their afternoons skiing by themselves just like the good old days- what a treat! We also went sledding on the 12 th hole-quite a hill to speed down.  What a wonderful winter visit!
