Meeting Baby Jack!!

We traveled to San Antonio this weekend to meet my cousin Jack who was born in September. Jack is great- very good baby, hardly made a peep all weekend. Right now three months seems like a huge difference, yet soon we will be running around together! James, Judy and Jack all seem to be doing well. We stayed at my cousin Ben's house with Amy and David, having a fajita party there on Saturday night. Sunday we visited with Rochelle and Manny. It was great to see my Texas family, although my grandparents were not there as they are in Papau New Guinea.

Pumpkins and Grandparents

Fall has arrived, although you would never know it based on the temperatures. Grammy and Grandpop arrived from New Hampshire on Thursday. They are impressed by how much i love to eat. I have found my feet and am fascinated by my dinosaur Robeez from Aunt Kate. Saturday we picked out pumpkins on a farm where i also rode on a tractor. I have not yet decided what to carve in my pumpkin. I am excited for my Halloween costume to arrive....

Anna Claire's First Birthday

Saturday, October 13th was Anna Claire's first birthday party which was a pink flower themed event. I watched with awe as she ate a green flower cake with her hands! I cannot wait until i am allowed to do that! I gave her a pink and green watermelon outfit, which Mommy helped me pick out for Anna Claire. Later, Poppi put me to work reseeding and watering the grass.

My First Meal (sort of)

Grandy came to visit for Columbus Day. I impressed her with all I have learned since she saw me last. Mommy and Grandy fed me my first meal of rice cereal. I LOVED it- opening my mouth wide for the spoon and helping put the spoon in my mouth with both my hands wrapped around it and Mommy's hand. I even licked the spoon clean! I acted like I have been starving, although i know looking at me that is hard to believe. I cannot imagine how exciting it will be trying other foods! Mommy says she should have listened to those who had encouraged her to give me some weeks ago! As you can see the paparazzi went a little crazy. Poppi even reluctantly videotaped the event. Yesterday I wished my Aunt Kate and Uncle Johnny a happy two year anniversary!

My First Road Trip

Thursday night we headed to Memphis for Poppi's pediatric conference. We stayed at the famous Peabody hotel, viewing the "duck walk". The ducks live in the hotel fountain-coming down the elevator each morning from their duck palace on the sky level. They then proceed down the red carpet, amongst a large number of paparazzi, to enter the fountain where they spend the day. I also experienced the famous music of Beale Street.
