Christmas Spectacular

Andrew, Aunt Jess and Uncle Ed invited us to enjoy the Christmas spectacular at Gaylord Hotel. There were hundreds of lights, trees, and hanging decorations. The atriums were full of bright lit hot air balloons, large Santas, 3 wise men with camels and presents. There was plenty of music to enjoy as well- one atrium even had the fountains "dancing" to the music.

Oh Christmas Tree

Brady and I headed back to the local boy scout Christmas tree lot where we have purchased our trees the last several years. Not only do they have a wonderful selection (the bigger the better) but they also have a giant Santa and a teepee. We look forward to joining their troop someday... We had a great time listening to Christmas music and decorating the tree. My two favorite songs are "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and "Jingle Bells".

Christmas at Cheekwood

Coop and I had a great Saturday morning recently at Cheekwood. We invited our friends Anna Claire and Anders go come along. We saw numerous beautiful Christmas trees, a giant swowman, decorated (and ate of course) Christmas cookes and even ran into Santa on his way back to the North Pole.

Discovery Center

Recently we explored the Discovery Center in Murfeesboro. We had lots to play with- all kinds of trucks, nature exhibits and pretend stations. We drove a firetruck, train, did laundry, worked in a post office and sifted for fossils.

Gobble Gobble

We had a great Thanksgiving week- Grammy and Pop were here from New Hampshire. We helped celebrate our friends Mary Helen's Baptism and Andrew's First Birthday. We loved all the tasty foods.
