Hoppin' 2nd Birthday Party

I had my second birthday party at My Gym. Over the past year or so I have been taking a class at My Gym during which we climb, tumble, jump, dance to music, sing songs, watch puppet shows and make friends. Brady is now in his own class as well. As we always enjoy our time there, it was quite fitting to have my party at My Gym. As you can see some friends, Grammy and Pop came to celebrate with me. I loved every minute of it, especially the "motorcycle ride" which is a tradition for the birthday boy/girl. My party had a froggie theme!

Ice Cream Crank

Late Sunday afternoon we attended the Oak Hill Ice Cream Crank, which raises money for an organization assisting families. It is the perfect way to spend a hot afternoon- tasting ice cream, jumping in a bounce house and visiting with neighbors. I was quite enthralled with the giant "chocolate milk man". Brady tasted his first ice cream and we both loved our first popsicles. Although it looks like Brady is a little bit wary of ice cream, he soon learned to love all the different flavors.

The Zoo then the pool

Saturday was a busy day for us Bowles boys. Coop and I went to the zoo and then later to the pool. The giraffes were our favorite animals, yet the true highlight was playing in the Monkey Playground. I enjoyed the bounce area for the first time as well. As you can see, we are on the move, making it quite difficult to get good pictures of us.

Wrestling vs Snuggling

Now that Brady is bigger and MUCH more mobile, we are having a blast playing together. Sometimes sharing is hard but overall I love showing him all the toys. Brady likes to crawl up on top of me and we roll around- I have noticed that Mommy refers to this as snuggling but Daddy calls it wrestling....
