Sea World

Although Sunday was a little chillier than we would have liked, we adventured to Sea World. I loved watching the seal/walrus show as well as the dolphins. Mommy, Poppi and Uncle David rode two rollercoasters (hopefully someday i will be able to fly through the sky yelling with my hands up). Ben was brave enough to have his photo taken with Santa Shamu.

My Very Social Day

On Saturday my social calendar was quite full. The morning started with a visit from Aunt Martha, Grandy's sister, who came to visit from Victoria, Texas. I entertained her with my rolling, giggling and smiling. Cousin Ben, Aunt Amy and Uncle David joined us for lunch. Ben was nice enough to share his Mommy's lap with me. That evening we had dinner with the O'Briens, Amy's parents, at one of Poppi's favorite barbeque restaurants, County Line. On the way home we stopped off to see the Wheelers, Cousin Jack's grandparents, prior to their departure to Dallas. They watched Poppi and James grow up and are now enjoying watching Jack. Needless to say, i was exhausted from all the visiting!

Our Arrival in San Antonio

We arrived in San Antonio for Christmas to visit with the Bowles family and Texas friends. Unfortunately my cousin Jack, Aunt Judy and Uncle James were heading to Tennessee the next day. We had time for a quick visit prior to their depature. Our Poppis swapped cars and we exchanged gifts. Jack is getting big (he is only three months younger than me)! Jack and I plotted future adventures while our parents compared notes on how best for us to sleep, eat, travel and play. I quickly situated myself at Grandy and the President's house (that is my grandpa to most of you). I loved rolling in front of their beautiful Christmas tree.

Sonia's Surprise

When Mommy and Daddy returned home from work today, Sonia had a wonderful surprise for them. She had dressed me up in my Christmas present from her- a Santa Suit! I love the boots and belt. It will surely make another appearance or two over the holidays. I am trying hard to work on my Santa belly. I will miss Sonia while we are traveling. She takes very good care of me (and Bailey).

Countdown to Saint Nick

These days are spent lounging with Bailey under the tree, cooking in the kitchen with Mommy and going out in my reindeer hat.

Rollin' Days

I am heavy into rolling these days. I start out on Grammy's quilt but as you can see I quickly end up under the ottoman, coffee table and sofa. I am working hard to learn how to crawl.

My Christmas tree

What an exciting time- my first Christmas season. So many traditions to learn about...last weekend we brought our tree home from the Boy Scout lot on the corner- i wore my reindeer hat of course. Bailey and I supervised the tree trimming. Mommy and Sonia are busy teaching me Christmas carols. I am looking forward to my trips to San Antonio and the Shire over the holidays. I have yet to see the jolly plump man in red but hope he will bring me some goodies.
